Job Action Day is a reminder that it takes action to get into work that fits and grow and change with the business whether yours or someone else’s. You create your career story. Take action to make your story exciting and interesting so that a new adventure awaits you every day.
Job: the work that has value
Action: movement or exciting activity
Day: time constraint
Job Action Day reminds us that doing work that we value takes action––getting up, getting out and doing something––within a reasonable time limit. It’s easy to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or overly stressed about change. When you get that unsettled feeling in your gut and know you need to take action you may be looking for a job, wanting to change the way you work, or you may want to work for yourself.
As you sit in front of your computer contemplating change; get up and get out.
Your profile is your story that ignites your call to action. You know what you want to do and you can’t wait to write it down. When you write down your goals and plans, you set them in motion in your body and brain. Once your juices are flowing and you are ready for action you will start on the path to your new success. Your path may change as new opportunities arise. You can plan for and take advantage of unexpected opportunities or Planned Happenstance; the key is to take action!
